Dear Researchers,

The desire of mankind to travel outside their home country and meet with other nations without experiencing significant time loss is undoubtedly closely related to the development of aviation technology. However, as humanity expanded its horizons, it has also aspired to be involved in space activities, aiming to reach the goal of life relations in space. In this context, the issue of the peaceful use of outer space has come to the forefront. International and regional cooperation in the peaceful use of space, the benefits of space technology applications reaching both governmental and non-governmental stakeholders, and the intensification and diversification of national space programs play a crucial role in achieving these goals. The policy and regulatory frameworks at the national, regional, and international levels are of paramount importance in providing the necessary ground for states, especially developing countries, to achieve their development goals and overcome the challenges to sustainable development. In this regard, the connections between international space law and the implementation of space activities should continue to be strengthened. Similarly, we observe the development of space law in the context of private sector activities in space, to be carried out in alignment with states.

In light of these developments, we are pleased to invite you to the 1st International Space Law and Technologies Symposium, organized in collaboration with Düzce University and TOBB UYUM Space Commission, which will be held from February 27-28, 2025.
